According to statistics released by Statistics Canada, Canada’s coal output in January-May 2018 was 22.969 million tons, down 7.8% year-on-year; coal exports were 123.32 million tons, up 3.5% year-on-year. Among them, coal output in May was 4.069 million tons, down 16.7% year-on-year; coal exports were 2.595 million tons, down 9.9% year-on-year.
