In terms of raw materials, the price of pure benzene rebounded slightly at the end of the month after a wide decline this month. The price at the end of the month was 7500-7700 yuan / ton, a decrease of 7.1% this month and an increase of 123.89% over the same period last year.

Nitric acid: nitric acid rose broadly this month and fell slightly at the end of the month. On August 1, the price of nitric acid in East China was 2600 yuan / ton and 3030 yuan / ton on August 31, an increase of 16.54% over the beginning of the month and 102% over the same period last year.

In the first half of the month, aniline was mainly consolidated in a narrow range, and the raw material support was strong. Although some early maintenance devices were restarted for shipment, the factory inventory was not high, the downstream demand was relatively stable, and the price fluctuated little. In the second half of the month, due to the load reduction of Tianji and Wanhua aniline units, the market supply decreased, the demand for downstream intermediates increased, the overall demand increased, the enterprise’s inventory level was low, and the price continued to rise. Near the end of the month, due to the impact of environmental protection policies, the downstream operating rate decreased and the demand was adjusted rationally.

3、 Future forecast

In terms of raw materials, the performance of raw materials and downstream main products is poor, and the action force of pure benzene is insufficient. It is expected to continue the consolidation in the short term. In September, demand may pick up.

At present, aniline enterprises maintain a low inventory level, the downstream demand is relatively stable, and the short-term price is expected to be strong. In September, downstream demand is expected to recover.
